OEM / ODM PROCESS

How We Work: OEM/ODM Process

Every Yuetung OEM/ODM toy project runs through six stages: (1) discovery and quotation, (2) engineering and tooling, (3) pilot run and compliance testing, (4) mass production, (5) packaging and logistics, and (6) after-sales. You get a quote within 24–48 hours of sending complete files and T1 samples in 25–45 working days; a 300–500-unit pilot run locks in quality before mass production, and goods ship FOB Shenzhen/Hong Kong or EXW. New-tooling MOQ is typically 3,000–10,000 units.

    • Signed NDA/NNN (non-disclosure, non-use, non-circumvention)
    • 3D files (STP/IGS/STEP) and 2D drawings
    • BOM and Pantone color references
    • Expected quantity (EAU)

    What we deliver

    • Tooling cost and unit price quote (with or without packaging, FOB or EXW)
    • Factory audit on request (ISO, ICTI, BSCI certificate copies on request; Disney FAMA audit experience; third-party audits welcome)
  2. STAGE 2

    STAGE 02

    Engineering & Tooling (NPI)

TypicalT1 samples in 25–45 working days (simple molds from ~20 days)

DFM analysis and prototyping validate manufacturability, then we build your private tooling and deliver T1 samples.

    What you provide

    • Tooling payment (100% upfront)
    • Review of the DFM report and prototype
    • Color chip approval against Pantone C references

    What we deliver

    • DFM report (gate location, ejector marks, parting lines, sink marks, draft angles)
    • SLA 3D-printed or CNC functional prototype
    • Mold build in S136 or NAK80/718H steel, with weekly progress reports
    • T1 samples plus 2–3 free modification rounds within DFM scope
    • 3–5 color chip samples matched under a D65 light box
  3. STAGE 3

    STAGE 03

    Pilot Run & Compliance

    TypicalPilot run of 300–500 units

A production-condition pilot run fixes the quality standard and confirms safety compliance.

    What you provide

    • Signed Golden Sample
    • Agreement on boundary samples (acceptable quality limits)

    What we deliver

    • 300–500-unit pilot run and Pilot Run Report
    • SOPs and jigs/fixtures for production
    • Safety testing to EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA via SGS, Intertek or TÜV
    • AQL acceptance criteria and boundary samples (Disney FAMA for Disney IP)
  4. STAGE 4

    STAGE 04

    Mass Production

TypicalTypically 2–4 weeks by volume, plus ~1 week QC & testing

Production runs under 2-hourly in-process inspection and 100% final inspection.

    • Optional: on-site QA or third-party DUPRO inspection

    What we deliver

    • Weekly or bi-weekly production status reports (PSR)
